Hello everyone. Two years ago, we moved from a house to an apartment and brought our pet dog, Titus, with us. Amanda worked from home, so we did not have any problems. However, Amanda is about to begin working on-site in a new job, and we can no longer look after Titus.
We have attempted rehoming him, placing posts on social media, and even the city shelter as a last resort. No one will take him. He's a great dog, very loving and chill. But we cannot take care of him anymore.
All this to say that we finally found a place that will take him in the San Diego area called "Frosted Faces." It is a place that takes senior dogs and cats and provides a shelter for them and possible adoption. Here is their website: https://frostedfacesfoundation.org/facility
But...
The surrendering charge is $2,000. Yes, you read that right, $2K. We can only pay up to $400.00 to help him get a good home. So we need your help covering the remaining cost. We hate to ask for money for this, but we are, for lack of a better word, desperate. So, if you can help us in any way, thank you. If you cannot, pray for us as we deal with this. OR, if you would like to adopt him, contact us. (he is up to date on vaccinations, good with dogs and kids, is neutered, and he is microchipped).
This has already been a difficult decision process, and please know that we have tried every possible way to get a resolution that is humane, responsible, and best for Titus. We know he is just "a dog," but he has been a blessing to us.
Thank you,
Alex & Amanda
