Alyson has faced a series of serious health challenges, and after a long and painful battle, she is now spending her final weeks or possibly months in palliative care for advanced ovarian cancer.

<div>She has been in and out of the hospital for most of the year. Bless her heart—her body has been through hell. Yet she rarely complains and somehow still manages to crack jokes and keep others smiling.

<div>Daniel’s company dissolved his department two months ago, leaving the Harneys—a family of five—with no income. In the midst of so much emotional and physical hardship, this financial burden has added another weight to carry.
