<div>I am going to be 50 in July, and I don't feel I really have a long time left to keep waiting, there are less years ahead of me than behind me.  I went to see a private surgeon and they can do it for me and have me in an operating room sometime between September and October.

<div>The only issue is the quote they gave me.  $20975.   Its more than I expected by alot.   I feel I might be able to pull this off but I'd have to tap every resource and credit line I have access to.   I'd basically be pushing my finances to the limit just to have access to my own, true self.

<div>One way or another I am going to do this, because I need this.   But doing it is honestly, barely within reach.  So now I feel I need to ask for help with this.

<div>I already have $2000 stashed away for the down payment.   The rest, $18975, is the tough part.   I am not the kind of person who has an easy time asking for help, but this is kind of an extreme expense.   So I have decided to do this.
