<div>Hello everyone! I have created this Gofund me to help out my husband &amp; I’s close friends Ally &amp; John. Ally and John are two of the most amazing humans we know, and they are going through an extremely difficult time right now with the sudden illness of their sweet Arnold (their golden doodle), as well as dealing with the challenges of becoming new parents to their beautiful newborn boy, Louis.

<div>Ally and John are huge animal lovers, they are parents to two beautiful doggies (Arnold &amp; Ryan) as well as their cat fur babies, and this has been an absolutely devastating time for them to navigate.

<div>Ally went into labor, and soon after Ally’s mom had to take Arnold into the vet because he was puking &amp; urinating uncontrollably.  The vet did multiple diagnostic tests to figure out what was going on &amp; found that he has elevated calcium levels which will eventually kill him. They found a mass and tried to determine whether or not the mass was either lymphoma or a benign mass. They also did testing to rule out hyper parathyroidism, which is tumors on the thyroid that can cause calcium spikes as well.

<div>Unfortunately, Arnold did not respond to the steroids given and the month they thought they would have with Arnold, turned into just a couple of days. Today, as of October 2nd 2025, Arnold will be euthanized to free him from all pain and suffering he may be experiencing. John and Ally did not make this decision lightly, but ultimately came to the conclusion that this would be best due to Arnold’s pain and suffering.

<div>I’m making this gofundme for all of my animal lovers/parents out there who want to help. Ally and John have paid almost 7k for all of this testing + the expenses of euthanasia from their home, where Arnold will be laid to rest where he is comfortable and familiar. Anyone out there who has experienced something similar, who loves animals, who knows how expensive vet bills are, or who simply want to help, please consider donating &amp; helping out a new family who doesn’t deserve to be worrying about this extent of vet bills while welcoming their new baby. Anything helps, thank you ❤️
