Allison, my dear high school friend, has always been the heart of her family and friends—full of positivity, generosity, and laughter. Since May, her life has been turned upside down by a relentless series of health crises. It began with a kidney infection that led to repeated hospitalizations, and by September, she was battling not only kidney and bladder infections but also sepsis and kidney failure. Each time she returned home, it was only a brief respite before another emergency sent her back to the hospital. 
 
 
 In October, Allison faced even more complications, including an enlarged pancreas and a grueling sepsis protocol that required daily IV antibiotics. Despite her strength and determination, the infections persisted, and she became resistant to nearly every oral antibiotic. Doctors tried new treatments, including a drug with formaldehyde, but the infections and post-sepsis syndrome continued to take a toll. In November, Allison underwent surgery to remove a blockage on her kidney, but soon after, she went septic again and suffered a severe allergic reaction to pain medication. Today, she is back in the hospital, struggling with infection, low blood pressure, and difficulty breathing. 
 
 
 Throughout all of this, Allison’s husband Ryan has been by her side, working tirelessly to cover basic necessities and the ever-growing medical bills. The financial strain has become overwhelming, especially since Allison has been unable to work steadily since May. Despite everything, Allison remains incredibly positive and continues to fight for her health, always thinking of her loved ones first.
