Help Aliwaza's Build The Black Girl Start Up

Today (July 5, 2019) Aliwaza's Market accepted our 62nd (out of 100 projected for this year) Black Woman-Owned brand to vend on Aliwazas.com.
I am beyond blessed to be able to be of service to all of them because -- let's face it -- it is difficult to convince 62 Black women to blindly do anything on the internet. Period.
With that said, we will be pushing forward with our next phase of growth: FUNDING
Did you know that we started Aliwaza's with $200 and have been self-funding and building from the growth of that investment?
I have learned to
- build websites
- use social media
- and countless other techy things
all because I have been funding Aliwaza's out of pocket.
Now you may be wondering, why a marketplace - that should be able to make money because of the nature of a marketplace - needs funding.
Well, Aliwaza's Market is a homegrown one-woman show that has primarily been spread by word of mouth. We need to be a nationwide multi-women production to realistically compete with existing platforms. Funding will help us ensure that we leave no stone unturned while getting the word out to the world.
Additionally and frankly, people are skeptical about unapologetically Black things. Funding will help us secure the endorsements necessary for validity in this fast pace market and social proof-driven internet.
WE ARE SEEKING $100,000 (loan free) over the course of a year to help us lauch a multistrategy national advertising campaign and enhance the quality of our already amazing online marketplace.
With your investments, we will:
1. Expand our promotional efforts with a national campaign targeting Black woman entrepreneurs
2. Enhance our already functional and beautifully designed website and future corresponding web apps
3. Pour into our educational platform and related resources (free to our vendors)
All contributors will be mentioned on our partner page. All contributors of $100 or more will be sent one Aliwaza's branded merchandise. All contributors of $500 will be listed as a sustainer on our site and receive two Aliwaza's branded items.
