<div>I've been treated with chemotherapy and a medication specifically designed to manage the genetic mutation driving my origin cancer. I see an oncologist, pulmonologist, general practitioner, palliative care doctor and nurse, and a therapist. I'm in the hospital less than I was in the beginning, but I maintain a lot of medications.

<div>My shelf life is limited, but I still want to stay alive if I can, for as long as I can. I thought I was going to finally get my degree, create a different kind of life, maybe fall in love and get married, but it looks like I won’t have time for all that.

<div>If you can, I hope you’ll help me make the most time for myself that I can. Thank you. I will make relevant updates here and possibly pass the torch to a friend if I get too sick. I'm trying to continue treatment, take the time off that I need, and travel and have fulfilling experiences now that I have so much less time than I thought-- so donations could also be applied to my ongoing bills, hospital and medical treatment bills, other costs of living, and if there is enough, travel and experiences.<br /><br />This says it's on behalf of my father, Mark, and he is a beneficiary in the sense that we both have access to the same account to ensure my bills are paid and affairs managed should my health take a sudden left turn or require hospitalization, he can see to the care of these things.
