Help Alina to start over
One night can and will change a life.. Alina's life. She woke up to devastating news - flooding.
She is the most kind and caring person I have ever met and with her kindness she changed my life and helped many others too. I always know that whatever happens she will be there for me, and I want to be there for her.
Alina Holohan is a photographer (Just too cute photography by Alina Holohan) and a mummy to 5 children, who lives in Ireland near Dublin. She has been working as a photographer for 4 years. She just opened the doors of her new home studio a few months ago and it was her dream come true after working in variuos locations before that.. She loves colours and is inspired by many of you, especially Luisa Dunn. She is addicted to Intuition backgrounds and was so proud of her collection.. she has spent several months planning her Christmas sessions this year and she was so excited about it all.
This morning, she messaged me with most devastating news.. A flood took it all from her, her studio flooded, her computer, laptop, beloved backgrounds, floors, Christmas, 70-200mm lense, sofas, loads of props, flokatis, wals , furniture - all are gone. She managed to save lights, camera body and external hard drive - all thats left of a brand new studio. The estimated loss is over 17K EUR . Alina's Home studio was under residential home insurance and it did not cover flooding.
It will be a brand new start for Alina.. to start everything over. I can not even imagine how she feels at the moment, but I know that she will try to smile and be positive taking this challenge on. But I also know it will take time, it will take money it will take much more... Christmas is just around the corner and I know it is a busy and expensive time for everyone's families.. But here I am asking for help. I'm hoping that our strong community can come together again to help Alina now at time like this when it looks like theres no way out..
