<div>They had no choice but to flee to a crowded shelter tent. Within the confines of that tent, Ali’s son Yazan suffered from a painful injury in his foot caused by a shrapnel from a shell.

Each passing day, his family clung to the hope that they would be able to gather the necessary amount to move to a safe place, where Yazan could receive treatment and they could live free from the horrors of war.
