<div>Our daughter, Alexis Pitre, was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer: primary angiosarcoma.
</div>
<div>Primary angiosarcoma is an extremely rare cancer that develops in the lining of blood vessels. Alexis was first diagnosed in her right breast in October 2024 and underwent major surgery. At the time, we hoped that surgery would be enough.
</div>
<div>But this disease has proven to be relentless.
</div>
<div>In 2025, the cancer returned. And now, as of April 2026, we have received devastating news:
</div>
<div>Alexis’s cancer has spread to her bones, including her rib, sacrum, and arm. Her diagnosis is now stage four metastatic angiosarcoma, meaning it is considered incurable with standard treatments.
</div>
<div>She is currently undergoing chemotherapy (paclitaxel), fighting through severe side effects like nerve pain, exhaustion, and emotional strain. The goal now is no longer cure through conventional means—but to slow the disease and preserve quality of life.
</div>
<div>We Are Running Out of Options.
</div>
<div>At this stage, we are being forced to look beyond the standard system.
</div>
<div>After extensive research, we are now trying to get Alexis to MD Anderson Cancer Centre with Dr. Ravi in Texas, a specialist known for working with rare and complex cancers like angiosarcoma.
</div>
<div>This is not a guaranteed solution—but it represents one of the last remaining paths we can pursue. 
</div>
<div>And it is extremely expensive: Potentially up to $250,000.00...
</div>
<div>International treatment is not covered so

<div>travel, accommodations, and medical care must be paid out of pocket.
