I'm starting a GoFundMe for Alex Davies and Tommy McDougall to help them during their sons cancer treatment.
  Alex and Tommys lives have been turned upside down as they have had to accept the news of their baby boy Thomas being diagnosed with cancer. Receiving the news that a child has been diagnosed with cancer is absolutely heartbreaking for any parent, family member, or friend. Thomas's story:
 Thomas is a 1.5year old little boy who is the absolute centre of his mum and dads world. Thomas is a happy go lucky little boy and couldn't be more loved.  He was hitting his milestones, first mastered the crawl then then there was no stopping him he was on his feet and thriving until around 6 weeks ago. Thomas developed a rash it wasn't a typical rash and Alex took him to get checked and was told it was likely viral and was told to use paracetamol. 10 days later little Thomas started to show signs of pain and wasn't his normal self. Alex returned to doctors as his temp was high and nothing was helping, they then thought it was scarlet fever and prescribed antibiotics. after the course of antibiotics Thomas's observations and temperature were still not right and they were send to hospital for bloods. 
Bloods were taken and these showed signs of childhood leukaemia after these results wee Thomas was transferred to Glasgow children Hospital for more tests. Over the next week wee Thomas had to have blood transfusions and a bone marrow test, the doctors were struggling with the result and had to do another bone marrow, It was then Alex and Tommy were told by doctors that they didn't think it was the typical childhood leukaemia. Pathologists later confirmed it’s was a form normally found in adults called Acute Myeloid Leukaemia and Thomas is now going through 4 sessions of intensive chemotherapy which should last at least 5 months if unsuccessful at first Thomas will need either more chemotherapy or a bone marrow transplant.
