Our family’s life changed suddenly when my son Alex suffered a severe spinal cord injury that required emergency surgery. What began as an ordinary day quickly turned into a long and uncertain medical journey for him and for all of us who love him.
Alex has already undergone major spinal surgeries to stabilize and decompress his neck. The doctors have told us that the road ahead will be long. Recovery from a spinal cord injury is measured in months and years, not days. While there are encouraging signs such as small movements and sensations returning, he now faces intensive rehabilitation, specialized therapy, and ongoing medical care as he works to regain as much function and independence as possible.
Our focus right now is giving Alex every possible chance at recovery. The funds raised will go toward the enormous costs associated with spinal cord rehabilitation, medical transport, specialized therapy, adaptive equipment, and the many unexpected expenses that come with long-term recovery.
Alex is strong and determined. Even in the most difficult moments, he continues to fight and hold onto hope. We are believing in healing, progress, and the possibility of seeing him regain mobility and independence with time and rehabilitation.
If you are able to contribute, any amount truly helps. If you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Alex in your prayers means just as much to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support, encouragement, and love during this incredibly difficult time.
With gratitude,
Deborah Seaton and Family
