Help Alex GET SUVs for Ukraine

My name is Carol, and I opened this GoFundMe on the OK of my friend Alex Dunai, who needs help to continue the urgent work he is doing for the people of Ukraine. I connected with Alex many years ago when he was recommended by someone in my Jewish genealogy circle as an outstanding researcher and Ukraine tour guide. I travelled with him through the Carpathian Mountains in search of my great grandparents’ towns and burial places. It was an emotional journey where Alex’s selflessness, compassion and willingness to go the extra mile was so enormous that he has since become part of my family.

Alex is truly out there and getting it done, but it’s not over!  

While fading in the news cycle, the war in Ukraine rages on, and Alex needs your help to make sure that his fellow Ukrainians maintain safety during this time of frightening and horrendous upheaval. There is a huge shortage of civilian transport vehicles because so many are being destroyed in the war. Alex has immediate need for new or used vans, pickup trucks, 4-wheel drives, SUVs to help move people around to places where they feel safe, to evacuate and rescue the injured and take them to medical care, and to buy and move around the essentials of daily living that we take for granted : medicines, water, food, clothing etc, but are so difficult for Ukrainians to obtain. 

For the cost of one new SUV Alex can buy 4-5 used ones plus the spare parts needed to repair them.
