Alex Carmenates—known to many as DJ Cubanito—is a beloved friend and a vibrant part of our community. Recently, Alex faced a serious medical crisis: he was hospitalized for over ten days due to a UTI with diabetes complications. This unexpected health emergency has left him with mounting medical bills and no insurance coverage until January 2026, meaning every expense for his care and medication must be paid out-of-pocket.

As Alex recovers, he is unable to return to work, making it nearly impossible to keep up with both his medical and everyday living costs. The financial strain is overwhelming, and it’s making an already difficult recovery even harder. Despite these challenges, Alex remains hopeful and determined to get back on his feet.

Your support can make a real difference. By contributing to this fundraiser, you’ll help relieve Alex’s financial burden so he can focus on healing. Every donation, no matter the size, brings him one step closer to recovery. Thank you for standing with Alex and showing him he’s not alone during this challenging time.
