<div>With shattered hearts, we share the unimaginable loss of our beloved Alejandra. At just 34 years old, she was the loving mother of Brianna (14), Cali (9), and little Aaron, just shy of 3 years old. What began as a joyful Sunday morning at the soccer field—cheering on her daughter, cousin, and step-kids—suddenly turned into a heartbreaking tragedy.

<div>As always, the family gathered under a pop-up tent with folding chairs, coolers, and blankets, ready to enjoy a sunny day on the field. Alejandra talked about taking the kids to enjoy a pool day after the game—something she loved to suggest on warm weekends.

<div>She was also beaming with excitement about her newest venture: the cleaning business she had recently launched. Those who knew her could see how proud she was to be building something of her own. Her energy, ambition, and sense of purpose were truly inspiring—she was entering a new season of life.

<div>Everything felt like a typical day—until it wasn’t. Alejandra suddenly became dizzy while holding her baby niece. Family immediately sensed something was wrong and took the baby from her arms. Alejandra slumped into her chair, quickly becoming unresponsive. The family rushed to her side, trying to revive her, but it was clear this was serious. Although she had a history of high blood pressure, this episode was unlike anything they’d seen before.

<div>911 was called right away, and while waiting for the ambulance, people rushed in to perform CPR. She was transported to the hospital, where doctors later confirmed she had suffered multiple brain aneurysms that caused severe internal bleeding.

<div>Alejandra flatlined at the park for more than 25 minutes before arriving at the hospital. Her pulse was temporarily regained, but tragically, she flatlined again for another 10 minutes. Despite the heroic efforts of first responders and medical teams, Alejandra was declared brain dead after going without oxygen for a total of 35 minutes. Her family and friends held onto hope for a miracle, but her injuries were too severe.

<div>Alejandra was so much more than her titles—she was the heart of her family and a bright light to everyone she met. Her strength, generosity, and ability to lift others with her warmth and humor were unmatched. She was always helping, always giving, and always loving.

<div>Con el corazón destrozado, compartimos la inimaginable pérdida de nuestra querida Alejandra. Con tan solo 34 años, era la amorosa madre de Brianna (14), Cali (9) y el pequeño Aaron, de casi 3 años. Lo que comenzó como una alegre mañana de domingo en la cancha de ‘soccer’, animando a su hija, prima e hijastros, se convirtió repentinamente en una desgarradora tragedia.

<div>Como siempre, la familia se reunió bajo una carpa plegable con sillas plegables, hieleras y mantas, lista para disfrutar de un día soleado en la cancha. Alejandra habló de llevar a los niños a disfrutar de un día en la piscina después del partido, algo que le encantaba sugerir los fines de semana calurosos.

<div>También estaba radiante de emoción con su nuevo emprendimiento: el negocio de limpieza que había lanzado recientemente. Quienes la conocían podían ver lo orgullosa que estaba de construir algo propio. Su energía, ambición y propósito eran realmente inspiradores: estaba entrando en una nueva etapa de su vida.

<div>Todo parecía un día normal, hasta que dejó de serlo. Alejandra se mareó repentinamente mientras sostenía a su sobrina bebé. Su familia percibió de inmediato que algo andaba mal y le quitó a la bebé de los brazos. Alejandra se desplomó en su silla, perdiendo rápidamente el conocimiento. La familia corrió a su lado, intentando reanimarla, pero era evidente que se trataba de algo grave. Aunque tenía antecedentes de hipertensión, este episodio era diferente a todo lo que habían visto antes.

<div>Se llamó al 911 de inmediato y, mientras esperaban la ambulancia, acudieron rápidamente para practicarle RCP. La trasladaron al hospital, donde los médicos confirmaron posteriormente que había sufrido múltiples aneurismas cerebrales que le causaron una hemorragia interna grave.

Recuperó el pulso temporalmente, pero trágicamente, volvió a permanecer en estado de muerte cerebral durante otros 10 minutos. A pesar de los heroicos esfuerzos de los socorristas y los equipos médicos, Alejandra fue declarada con muerte cerebral tras estar sin oxígeno durante 35 minutos. Su familia y amigos abrigaban la esperanza de un milagro, pero sus lesiones eran demasiado graves.
