Help Albert Get to Jamaica

Meet Mr Albert Uriah Johnson. He is a 89 year old pensioner living in Nottingham and has been living in the UK since the early 1950s. He is part of the 'Windrush Generation' that came from the Caribbean during the 1950s to help rebuild the country after the second World War.
He has lived in the UK for over 63 years and the last time he visited his country of birth, Jamaica, was in 1974. Sadly, all of his friends here in the UK have passed away and from what we know, he never married and does not have any children.
The only 'family' he has here in the UK is Betty, who was initially an acquitance who would greet him on the streets, but learning that he was sick and had no one to look after him, took him into her home 6 years ago after he was discharged from hospital. She doesn't recieve any support from Adult Social Care or recieve any carers allowance for this because she works full-time and thus doesn't qualify but she continues to care and support him out of love. If it wasn't for Betty, he may have been put into a care home and be all alone.
45 years since visiting Jamaica, and Albert's dream is to visit his homeland one last time and to reconnect with any family members that may still be alive. Betty thinks he may have a sister who is still alive but with his memory starting to fade and no information on his family history, we want to organise a trip to Jamaica for him reconnect his roots and find out as much as we can about his family.
As Albert is a pensioner, he cannot afford the trip himself and neither can Betty on her salary as a Healthcare Assistant with the NHS.
This is why we are making this appeal and fundraising campaign to help get Albert to Jamaica, to visit his Homeland for two weeks.
Due to his age and other factors, his travel insurance will be very expensive and without knowing about surviving family members, he requires accommodation, food and travel expenses during the two week stay.
We kindly ask that you help us achieve his dream by donating whatever you can to make this happen for him this year - a special gift for his 90th birthday!
