Hello,

We are family Pescari and we adopted our dog Akis from a Romanian association for stray animals.

They think he was born with swimmer syndrome but we think that he also had an accident, hence he has problems with his both rear legs and can barely walk or stand more than a minute.

That's also causing him to always hurt both legs, make him bleed and has almost no fur anymore there. His claws are also breaking and bleeding.

At the moment he is having massage therapy once a week, which costs 45euros each session. We want to buy a special wheelchair and a clothing pant to protect his legs and to be able to walk and run without getting hurt or injured.

He is only 8 months old and really cute and he loves to play with other dogs and cats. We want him to get all the necessary equipment to not have any more issues in the future with his back or legs.

But all this costs a lot and we don't know exactly how long the therapy will take and the wheelchair will also be a minimum of 900euros.

We want to help him, but alone we won't be able because of all the expenses. That's why we ask for your help and support. Every donation, regardless of it's extent is going to help. And if money remains, it'll go into a shelter or assossiation which needs money for food, treatment or whatever else they need.
