Help AJ's Family Through This Crisis

Please help this beautiful family! Their beautiful little chubby cheeked boy is extremely ill.

My niece & her husband (Chelsea & Antonio) have 3 beautiful kids. They took their baby boy (AJ) (born March 24, 2025) to the ER Friday night. Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, TN could not figure out what was wrong, except he tested positive for COVID & he has sleep apnea. AJ stopped breathing several times. Jackson Hospital sent him to Le Bonheur Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Since the transfer, little AJ has steadily gotten worse. They have run test after test. He had a stroke the day before yesterday. The MRI showed that he has bleeding in the front & both sides of his brain. The only part unaffected is his brain stem. The doctors say that he went too long without oxygen and there is severe brain damage from the stroke. The good news is that he will live, but may never come off of the feeding tube or be able to breathe on his own. They have mentioned that cerebral palsy could be in his future. I talked to little AJ on the phone... his little body is shaking sooo hard it's pitiful. He's sooo weak he can only open his eyes into little slits.

Chelsea just called me as I'm typing this, AJ has blood clots in his neck, which could cause another stroke. They are unsure how they are going to treat this new development at this time.

Antonio & Chelsea are both off work because they are spending all their time at the hospital & going back and forth to Middleton, TN to see their 2 little girls, Brooklyn age 4 & Diamond age 3. They really need some help with travel expenses, food... etc.
