<div>On September 29th last year, Aimee suffered a spontaneous spinal epidural hematoma—an extremely rare and serious condition that caused sudden compression of her spinal cord between the C5 and C7 vertebrae. Emergency surgery was performed at the back of her neck to relieve the pressure, but by the time the hematoma was removed, significant and irreversible damage had already been done.

<div>Aimee is now living with quadriplegia—paralysis from the chest down that also affects the use of her hands. She is now dependent on a wheelchair and is adjusting to a completely different life from the one she knew.

<div>She recently completed four months of intensive rehabilitation, working incredibly hard to adapt to her new reality. This journey has been challenging in every way—physically, emotionally, and financially. Aimee has lost a great deal of independence and is now facing enormous obstacles just to carry out everyday tasks we often take for granted.
