Help Aika get her livelihood back

Hello, my friends. As you may know, my name is Aika and I am originally from Japan. I've been pursuing my dreams as a fashion blogger ( www.aikaslovecloset.com ) in America for 5 years now. It's been quite a journey, a roller-coaster of ups and downs. Living in a foreign country isn't a piece of cake. But at the same time, it's helped broaden my mind and taken me on paths I couldn’t have imagined 10 years ago when I first arrived. I am so proud of where I am right now. I would have not been able to achieve my goals and been able to come this far without deep love and continuous support from my amazing friends and beloved followers. And now I am in need of your support.


On October 3rd, in the middle of a photoshoot, my bag was stolen. I had a meeting in the morning and some extra time before shoot, so I was working on my projects, blogging, and editing. My bag contained everything I need to function and work: my laptop, phone, external hard drive, portable charger, along with other stuff like glasses, sunglasses and my scheduling book. I went into shock, blanked out and my brain turned to mush. Everything I needed to work and keep my blog running was gone in a flash.


I reported the incident to the police with my serial numbers with no luck.
I’ve scoured craigslist looking for identical devices with no luck.
While I do have my old phone, it dies every 30 minutes and it’s too difficult to use reliably. I create and edit a lot of content on my phone, but my old phone crashes and freezes so much I can’t produce nearly the same quality of work that I had previously been doing.

I know they are just objects, yet for me, they are the tools for my livelihood. My passion has been gone, and I’ve been feeling helpless, lost, and without direction because I can't afford to replace them. I wish I could, but my financial resources were recently drained while dealing with work visa issues.
