<div>Aid &amp; Abet is a small nonprofit project that has been a vital backbone for progressive social movements in the Bay Area. Since 2018, we've supported hundreds of protests, marches, rallies, press conferences, trainings, car caravans, and community arts events by offering logistical and event production expertise. We provide sound systems, solar-powered generators, communications radios, projectors, screens, stages, and podiums - with nearly 90% of the events we support at no charge for grassroots movements. We've worked with over 150 community organizations across Northern California - and were imminently signing a lease to create a community equipment cache and training space.

<div>On March 25th - as we went to load up equipment for the Youth Climate Strike - we discovered that our storage unit had been robbed.  <strong>We lost about $22,000 in equipment </strong>- and unfortunately, insurance will not cover the loss. With the COVID pandemic transitioning, we are expecting (and hoping) that we’ll see more people on the streets fighting for justice, which means more requests for Aid &amp; Abet to support them - but without the equipment to do so.
