</div>
<div>Lamar in particular aspires to be a doctor some day.

<div>"Hi, I'm Ahmed Altaban. I'm 22 years old and aspire to become a Biomedical Engineer but my university studies were interrupted due to the war in the Gaza Strip. I am from Deir al Balah which is located right in the middle of Gaza. It has taken me some time to gather my thoughts and courage to write this, but the urgency to save my future, my life, and the lives of my family is stronger than any hesitation.

The situation in this city has become catastrophic, as we face difficult conditions represented by a lack of food, medicine, water, in addition to the spread of diseases and epidemics.
