Help after Stem cell Transplant

Donation protected
My name is Judy.  Brian is my little brother, and as his big sis, I am desperate to help in any way I possibly can.   I have started this campaign to help Brian recover after his life saving Stem Cell Transplant.  As many know, this procedure requires 1 month of isolation in hospital and 3 months constant supervision immediately following.  This requires Brian and his support team to stay in Vancouver at a minimum cost of $150/day, l just for accommodation.  My goal is to help defer the costs so family can stay with him and assist the Cancer Team with Brians treatment.  This will help us provide Brian and Abby with emotional, physical, and spiritual support, so necessary for healing.
Here is Brians story:

"While preparing for shoulder surgery in November 2015,  I received the news the blood work showed I had Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia.   On further investigation and a biopsy, it was determined that I also had  Small Cell Lymphoma.    I was put on chemo therapy.   By August 2016, I was in remission.
Regular check ups indicated that I was in good shape until November 2017 . I noticed a lot of fatigue and had a type 2 mayo cardio infarction.(heart attack) I was flown to Vancouver where the tests confirmed the Leukemia had returned. The Hematology Team was very thorough and also discovered that I also had Hemolytic Anemia,  which causes the red blood cells to attack each other. I am back on chemotherapy.
Five months later, blood work came back showing an abnormality called 17 P deletion.  This is a genetic mutation that will eventually cause the chemo therapy to be ineffective .  I need a Bone Marrow Transplant (Stem Cell Transplant) to survive.  It has been scheduled for February 2019, at this point.
I am very fortunate to have a wonderful and caring family who all stepped up as potential donors, and fortunately 2 siblings are perfect bone marrow matches. Living in Terrace does not make it easy. My treatment here has been wonderful and very professional, but here they can only do so much.
For the Bone Marrow Transplant, I go to Vancouver. The duration of the transplant and follow up will keep me in Vancouver for 4 months. Once r eleased from the hospital, I must stay close by and visit the Out Patient Department every second day for the duration of my stay, looking for signs of rejection. I must find my own accommodation and require home care for all this time. The costs of flights, accommodation and home care is skyrocketing across the nation, with Vancouver leading the way. As you all know, whenever you are away from home the bills don’t stop and my small disability pension will not keep up.. I would very much appreciate any and all financial help that may come our way. Thank you so much and together, let’s beat cancer!
