<p><b>My Social Security Benefits were cut off due to DOGE changes to cut SSA bottom line. at my expense I have been evicted have 3 days to figure out where to next. I had planned on using my back pay I was supposed to get from Social Security when my benefits resumed. Then SSA took 100% of my back pay leaving me unable to catch up with my rent and my car loan I took out for rent I lost my house and I'm going to lose my car. I don't know what to do</b>. Disabled since 2009. Head injuries and other mental and physical health. my case wasn't to improve. I was on the ticket to work and it was a good feeling to be back to and earning a little money again. then last year I got an overpayment letter from the IRS they demanded that I put $49,162 in an enclosed envelope, (like I'm going to put that much money in an envelope and not enclose it.) and send it back to them promptly. I get a monthly statement saying the same thing every month I Cry. I have sold everything I have to pay my rent it still didn't work I didn't get the back that Social Security was supposed to pay me they took it all to put it on the overpayment which is not right because April 25th 2025 the policy change from 100% of your pay taken until overpayment is paid in full to now they could only take 50% of my monthly payment, back pay under the same guidelines. I depended on that to catch up with everything I have put in myself in debt I checked with the Social Security Administration multiple times to make sure that I would get that money and that it wouldn't go towards overpayment. because I made $70 too much in a month and a whole year they claim overpayment for the years that I made over one was $90 when was $70 and the other one was $120 but they took the full amount and charged me for it 5 years later. I thought I read in the ticket to work booklet that it was two for one if I made $70 they took $140 out of my monthly payment. why I don't know why can't they just take the actual amount we had over. for goodness sake they already take our change off of the payment to round down wonder what goes on with all that money they round mine down from 90 cents a couple of years. it's mind-boggling to do the math. I did what I was told. I got a job, I got a better job, I paid into the system and then I needed them. but instead my benefits are cut in an effort to cut the bottom line money for Social Security at my expense at our expense at United States citizens expense yet we send billions of dollars to fund another country. I'm not saying that my stuff's anymore or less then theirs but I'm an American citizen should I not come first I mean for god sakes we're talking about 49,000 which at this point in my life is unattainable to me and they can send billions 37.2 billion since 2023 has gone to Israel we are funding their War and it's at my expense My Social Security, my country, failed me. I apologize if this is not edited or in order I am in a hurry to get packed up.Please just understand that this is the hardest thing I've ever had to go through I have no home.
