Help Afghans at risk escape the Taliban

Good day!

My name is Sarah Adeyinka and I am the founder of CoCreate NGO- our organization is a small one that was established for the purpose of tackling injustice, especially human trafficking and domestic violence. We also provide humanitarian relief where we can by supporting or fundraising for those on the field. Right now, we are fundraising to support a group of very reliable and credible lawyers working round the clock to assist some Afghans who are desperate to flee the country before they are caught by the Taliban. Some of these people are advocates and/or worked with international NGOs and provided services (such as translation and interpretation) to foreign governments which puts them at risk.

There is a specific visa that they can apply for and that is the humanitarian parole being issued by the US government. We can apply for a waiver but that makes the process longer and since time is of the essence, we are fundraising for the filing fees. The filing fee for one person's application is $575 and we would like to support 20 people which means that we need $11,500. There are specifically two families of 6 and then a number of individuals that we are working hard to assist in leaving, so we will start with them. If we are able to raise more funds, it will continue to go towards helping Afghans trying to leave the country and organizations on the ground offering support.
