<div><strong>What's going on?</strong>
</div>
<div>I am trying to escape my current living situation which has turned unsafe for my well being, abusive to my mental, and toxic all around. I have a gameplan in mind.

<div><strong>The situation / Important context:</strong> On Sunday December 28th, 2025 I was avoiding going downstairs as to not agitate my housemate with my presence - due to ongoing tensions which resulted in me spending the majority of my days upstairs and waiting until as late at 3AM to do basic things like cook food for myself, brush my teeth, bathe, and even use the bathroom (all in order to keep the peace). Upon needing to retrieve a package from outside to which he took the initiative to engage with me. Despite saying, "I'm sorry but I don't have capacity right now" he said he would only take 5 minutes of my time to which I said okay. My time was not respected at all to which he took 15 minutes to ask me when I would be addressing some ongoing issues, demanded I answer him despite telling him numerous times that "I am sorry I don't have capacity and don't know right now." I communicated I do not and have not felt safe being around when he is home due to tensions and his adverse reactions in the past. This agitated him further and he continued to pressure me to give him a different answer by barraging me with more questions, throwing back my words in my face, and insulting me. At this point I was sick and tired of being pressured to talk when I communicated I had no space for discussion (on top of the fact I was supposed to be back upstairs spending time with my partner for his birthday) and said I'm absolutely fed up and ran upstairs to my safe space. He told me I was "f--ked up" as I ran up the stairs and then proceeded to sit at my locked door for over an hour talking to me about his grievances in life and with me, what he deserved (which in his words I was not giving him), and treated me like his therapist by trauma dumping without my consent or capacity taken into consideration. He would threaten to call 911 if I didn't answer him. At this point I gave him the bare minimum responses after being drained, cornered into my locked room, and felt even more unsafe. I snapped and screamed for him from my bed to "Please leave me alone" and that "I still don't have capacity despite you not respecting my boundaries." Again, he responded poorly by calling me abusive for raising my voice and giving him negative vibes. Things escalated to the point I called non-emergency to communicate that I am scared he may try something. This is where I reached out to my landlord to inform him I cannot stay here any longer and started working on a plan to leave this unsafe house.

<div><strong>TLDR:</strong> My housemate didn't respect my multiple attempts to verbally communicate I don't have capacity and tried setting a boundary about being left alone for the night and when he didn't get his way he verbally abused and harassed me outside my door for an hour. Non-emergency police &amp; my landlord have been informed about the entire situation. I am currently safe for the time being and on a no-contact agreement. But in order to flee safely I need help. My boundaries were not respected to the point I had to inform people I am scared for my safety and need to flee ASAP.

<div>I've debated if my decision to make this gofundme was even worthy of help. And though part of me feels like others deserve more help than I do - I can't deny that my support system is incredibly limited. I need help and there is no shame in asking for it. So here I am - doing my best in my own way until I can get back on my feet.

<div>Ever since I moved to this home 4-5 years ago I have been living paycheck to paycheck and keeping my head down to survive. It hasn't been easy but I was content until I was unemployed for 9 months last year. When my Aunt offered me a home this month I knew I had to get out of here. Even moreso now, of course. My mother &amp; Father are both gone and this is my chance to start over, save money once I land a job again, &amp; live with my only family. I'm determined to do whatever it takes to survive!

</div>
<div>✦ Within the 10 days we pack everything up safely for shipping &amp; drop them off at UPS
</div>
<div>✦ My belongings get shipped out to my Aunt &amp; Uncle's home in Arizona
</div>
<div>✦ I fly out to my Aunt &amp; Uncle's home before the 10 days are up
</div>

I am hoping to find a full-time job that will help me get back on my feet once more &amp; continue streaming. I want to give back to everyone through continuing to foster a community that others can feel safe, warm, &amp; at home in!
