<div>In March 2025, our vibrant 4-year-old son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Since then, every day has been a constant battle to keep his blood sugar safe. Dangerous lows (hypoglycemia) can cause seizures, unconsciousness, or even be life-threatening. Highs (hyperglycemia) can lead to ketoacidosis, which is also extremely dangerous and requires emergency care.

<div>Even with continuous glucose monitors, alarms can fail, readings can lag, and symptoms sometimes appear too quickly for us to react in time.

<div>A diabetic alert dog could detect these dangerous changes instantly, often before a monitor even notices them. This life-saving companion would give our son an added layer of safety, independence, and peace of mind for our whole family.
