Help Adrian and his family after Covid-19 Job Scam

2020 has been hard on so many families and while I did lose both of my jobs, I was grateful for the good health of myself and my family. After many months of job searching, I was excited to finally have a job.

That is until I was contacted by my bank, when I found out my "job" was actually an elaborate scheme by people who are taking advantage of those who are desperate to support their families during this unprecedented time. Contacting people disguised as legitimate companies through job sites like Zip Recruiter, thousands like me have been victimized and abused by these selfish individuals.

After speaking with the bank, there is nothing that can be done and now my family and I are being held responsible for roughly $35,000. To make matters worse, according to bank rules, they can drain my parent's account and take their entire savings.

I am absolutely devastated as I like believe in humanity's goodness, however, this situation has shocked me to my core.

I am hoping to offset the impact on my family as they are now victims in a heartless scam.  Because it is one thing to affect me, but a whole other beast to financially burden my family. 

All I ask is for awareness of these criminals to prevent such acts from befalling more innocents. I am on the look out for work in any capacity, so I can try to begin to handle this. If anyone is willing to provide any other support of any kind, my family and I would be forever grateful.

To my friends who reached out, I am touched and so blessed to count you as such. As Thanksgiving nears, I am saddened, frustrated, and upset beyond belief, but I am and always will be thankful for you all.
