Help Addie and Alex in Memory of Sean

Donation protected
Hi, our names are Alicia, Michelle, Evan, Derek, and Jordan. A few short days ago all of our lives changed forever. The sudden loss of our brother Sean Michael Bureau is a shock we will never fully understand or comprehend.

Sean was a beautiful soul, a light in all our lives. He never knew a stranger. He was full of life and he loved soooo hard. Sean’s light unexpectedly went out, and we - and his children and wife, Mother, in-laws, and friends - are left with a dark, empty spot that may never be fully lit again.

Sean was taken way too soon. He was born on the East Coast in 1978. He graduated from High School in NY where he enjoyed many laps around the school pool with his swimming teammates. He attended Potsdam, Stony Brook University and later served in the United States Coast Guard. He was so very proud of his service.

Sean married Jen in July 2005 in Huntington, NY. Sean worked for Charles Schwab for the past 4 years. He and the family moved to Florida just two short months ago to continue living their best life “Sean style.”

In his free time, Sean could be found in his favorite Blue sweatshirt cheering on his beloved New York Giants or listening to Dave Matthews Band. Sean LOVED camping and sharing that experience with his extended family. Some affectionately dubbed him “the mayor” of our crew at the campground. He enjoyed helping people, music, concerts and had an incredible zest for life. Far and away, however, his greatest passion was his family - and being a father to his two young children Addie and Alexander.

Sean will always be remembered as a loving father, husband, son, brother, brother-in-law, son-in-law, uncle, nephew and friend.

Sean wanted nothing more than to make people happy and live his best life. He always “lived for today.” He was so full of life it doesn’t even make sense he is gone. He was an amazing husband and best friend to his wife, Jen. His children Addie and Alex were everything to him and all he ever wanted was the best for them. He would make experiences happen for them no matter what the obstacles were.

The road this family will travel without Sean will be hard and long.

Many have asked what they can do to help Jen or the kids.

Jen is going to need a lot of help for Addie and Alex in the months ahead. We are writing this to give those who wish to do something an option to consider. Through this campaign, you can send your tokens of support directly to his children. All funds raised will go directly to Addie and Alex - to help provide some security for them in the future. This will help Jen focus on the “now” - and on healing.
