Help Adam See Again

Donation protected
My brother, Adam, has a degenerative but potentially curable form of blindness called Keratoconus.  Unfortunately, the typical treatment of corneal transplants have only been able to go so far (thanks in part to a botched stitches job).

He needs a replacement for his natural lens - something they always do with cataract surgery, but the standard Intraocular lens replacement doesn't help his vision much.

He needs a "premium" version called a Toric Intraocular lens to correct his astigmatisms and improve ghosting.

My family is attempting to pay out of pocket for the lens and post care, and the big C19 has hit us all pretty hard financially. As a last ditch effort I want to reach out to you all in order to help them. Anything at all helps.

More Iinformation in keratoconus from the Mayo Clinic:

"In keratoconus, your cornea thins and gradually bulges outward into a cone shape. This can cause blurry, distorted vision. Keratoconus (ker-uh-toe-KOH-nus) occurs when your cornea — the clear, dome-shaped front surface of your eye — thins and gradually bulges outward into a cone shape. "
