Over a year ago now our children lost their father figure, and I lost my husband. Adam's illness took away our hopes for a normal life. It all started from a headache, an ambulance was called two times as the first time Adam called the ambulance he was simply ignored and left hanging, that second time was too late... In the hospital the doctor's said Adam has covid-19 and four different bacterial infections. In this time Adam was being connected to a respiratory machine and was ready to be put into a medical coma. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough. They had to insert a ECMO (fake heart). All of the organs shut off and they found worms and holes in Adams lungs. His heart stopped working as it should. Adam suffered from a lot while lying in the hospital bed with things such as internal bleeding in the brain. It was horrible, our children we're crying after seeing what their dad's been going through. Adam was in a coma for a couple of weeks, the doctors wanted to stop helping and didn't want to give him another chance. They told us to say our last goodbyes to Adam, even though we never gave up!

In this whole story there was a lot of miracles. The blood in the brain disappeared. According to the doctors, Adam should of been dead and if he somehow manages to live, he will be a vegetable. The holes in the lungs we're never supposed to heal, he's only left with scars. Adam was asked to sleep with an oxygen mask for a year after five months he sleeps without the oxygen mask. Unfortunately, because of this, Adam isn't capable of doing anything physically, he has a chance to live a normal life and be back to normal, come back to the family and give all of us a smile. Adam now needs a rehabilitation to get him back on his feet. However, the rehabilitation cost is £72,000. This is for special treatment in Poland. We only have little time left as needs to leave his current hospital in January. Every little donation helps and gives hope to Adam for a normal life. Every single one of us can make a miracle happen.
