Hello, I am a 20-year-old first-generation Ethiopian-American aspiring to pursue higher education in Germany. My long-term goal is to study fields that will equip me to contribute meaningfully to the well-being and advancement of my community.

In the nearly three years since I have graduated from high school, I have done my best to work toward my educational ambitions. I was fortunate to obtain my first job to support these plans; however, a workplace injury forced me out of a job. Since then, I have encountered significant challenges in securing stable employment due to a difficult job market and my lack of specialised certifications. It has officially been a year since I had last been employed. This circumstance has left me in a position where progress has been difficult, and at times, I have felt increasingly frustrated and hopeless about the path ahead.

To maintain full financial transparency, all contributions will be used exclusively to meet student-visa financial requirements, to cover the costs of German language instruction from levels A1 through C2, and to fund an online certification course that will enable me to secure remote work and support myself sustainably, both now and after relocating.

Despite these obstacles, I remain committed to pursuing my education and the opportunities it may create. I am humbly seeking the support of kindhearted individuals who may be willing to assist me—whether through a contribution or by sharing my story. Any form of help would be received with sincere gratitude and would bring me closer to continuing my studies.

Thank you very much for your time, understanding, and generosity.
