Help Abi (Black #8) get to the JRDA 2021 World Cup

Hi All!
I have been given the fantastic opportunity to represent Team GB (WFTDA aligned) at the Junior Roller Derby World Cup in Canada in August 2021. Team GB will be playing  against the best of the best from across the world! This will be my second time playing at international level as I represented GB in the US in 2018. Following this I was proud to be awarded Team GB MVP!

I have been skating for most of my life and roller derby has brought me so many opportunities for fun and friendship. I currently skate with Rainy City Juniors as well as coaching and training with Halifax Bruising Banditas. I’m hoping to join Rainy City Roller Derby adults’ league when I age out this year. Therefore this will be my last time skating as a junior player.
However, it’s expensive to play the sport I love at this level. I am therefore asking  my family and also friends within the roller derby community if they could  help get me to Canada for the Junior Roller Derby World Cup 2021. Any funds raised will go to my flights, hotel, medical insurance and other costs needed for the trip.
