"A Family Trying to Survive"
My name is Abdullah Al-Qassab, a 27-year-old young man from Gaza.
I once dreamed of a simple, dignified life. I worked in tourism and opened a small travel agency that I built with my own hands and heart.
But war changed everything.
In just one moment, I lost my home, my business, my safety — and the ability to dream.
Today, I live with my small, beautiful family — trying to protect them with the little strength I have left:
My mother, the heart of our home, suffers from a heart condition. She needs regular medication and a special diet.
My grandmother, our gentle elder, struggles with high blood pressure. Her health has declined because of poor nutrition and cold nights.
And me… I’m doing my best to support them, but I can’t even afford basic food or medicine.
We no longer have a home.
We sleep on the ground, under the open sky, holding onto each other and praying for a better tomorrow — even a small one.
What I’m asking for isn’t much…
I’m asking for the right to live.
To buy medicine for my mother, food for my grandmother, and clean water to drink.
I’m asking for a blanket to warm us, and a roof to protect us from fear.
To anyone with a kind heart… we need you.
Please help us survive. Even a little means the world to us.
