Help with Abby's Medical Bills
Over the last year we have all watched Abby grow from a scared, shy foster dog into a confident, loving, friendly canine companion. I loved being Abby's foster mom, but after an entire year, of her patiently waiting, it was time for her to go to her forever home. On May 21st Abby was adopted by a wonderful family. They are patient and understanding of her initially timid demeanor. They welcomed her into their home with open arms. My heart has been happy knowing that Abby is in her forever home.
This morning (May 30th) I recieved a message from Abby's owner informing me she had two seizures last night and they were on their way to VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital. Without hesitation the Sinkovitz family
told the Vets to do whatever was needed to determine what was happening with Abby's health. Well with this new development came a huge vet bill. As of May 30th 2:15pm their current vet bill is $3941.53
Alameda is keeping Abby over night for seizure observation and she will be receiving an MRI on May 31st.
I am starting this go fund me in an attempt to help this wonderful family with these extraordinarily expensive medical bills. I cannot begin to imagine the heartache and worry they are experiencing, let alone the financial burden. They have not even had Abby 10 days and were blindsided by this recent development. While some individuals would attempt to return a newly adopted dog, this thought never crossed their mind. They love Abby and she is a part of their family and they will do whatever needs to be done to help her.
