Help a Widow with Irma repairs

My mother, Jean, lost her husband a few years back and has been trying to sell her house. Along comes Hurricane IRMA and damages her brand new roof AND her lanai (some framing and most of the screening), forcing her to remove it from the market. Since the house is 'live-able' FEMA will not assist with any of the repairs. My mom is on a fixed income, barely scaping by with the regular upkeep as it is, to have to spend extra funds, especially near the holidays, to repair the roof and the screen was not part of the budget. My husband and I were able to replace the missing shingles from the roof, however, the lanai is a whole other story.

The estimates for the lanai is $2,000. For some people, that might seem like a doable figure, and it might have been, had the property taxes not come in at the same time for more than was expected. When it rains, it pours, and Mom feels like she is drowning.  

If we can get 100 people to participate at $20 a piece (these days the price of a lunch out), then no one person will feel burdened and the repairs can get done so Mom can get this house back on the market! Between our family and our friends, I really think we can accomplish this goal rather quickly. Will you help? The waters didn't rise on us during IRMA, but Mom sure feels like they are now - throw her a life-raft and save her from going under!  I would love to tell her by Christmas that she can repair the screen because she is fully funded!
