Help Greg's Battle Against Cancer

Hi, my name is Shenia and I am creating this campaign for my step-dad and mom.
Just recently my family received some devastating news. My step-dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Kidney Cancer. Hearing the word cancer is scary within itself, but hearing that it’s stage 4 takes it to another level. It’s as if your whole world is instantly engulfed in this never ending darkness.
As frightening and terrifying as it is, there is still hope. Though my step-dad is in stage 4, his cancer is not aggressive and he has a high chance of survival. In order for that to happen his kidney has to be removed and he will have to go through chemo.
My step-dad is unable to work due to his condition and will be undergoing an operation on the 17th of April to remove his kidney. My mom will have to take time off of work, in which she will not be paid, in order to care for him after the surgery. I’m sure I do not need to explain the financial strain this alone will place on my family and that is not even taking into account the medical expenses.
Here's a little back story:
My step-dad's name is Greg. He is an Army Veteran and originally from Ohio. After the Army, Greg became a truck driver and has been doing that up until recently. He met my mom, Bonnie, back in 2004 when I was a freshmen in college. He use to run deliveries to the store she managed. Greg always jokes that it took him till he was an old man to find the love of his life. They have been disgustingly, cute lovebirds ever since.
Greg also is an important father figure for my siblings and myself. He didn't have to take on that role, especially seeing how I was 18 when he got together with my mom, but he has gone above and beyond ever since. Whether it was being a cosigner to help me get a vehicle or just being there to listen and offer advice. He has been a very important person in all of our lives.
The purpose:
My family and I would greatly appreciate any help that can be given to us. All the money will go to helping my mom and step-dad keep up with their normal bills and paying towards medical bills. I know that money can be tight, so please know that even the smallest amount helps.
