I’m creating this fundraiser for my younger sister, who is a 21-year-old Psychology major at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). She’s in her senior year and only has one semester left before she earns her degree — a milestone she’s been working toward with dedication and determination.

<div>Unfortunately, because of the federal government shutdown, FAFSA funds have been delayed, leaving her without the financial aid she depends on to cover her final semester’s tuition. She’s worked part-time jobs and managed every expense she could, but this unexpected setback has created a gap she can’t fill alone.
