<div>I'm currently enrolled in school to become an addictions counsellor, as I feel trans and queer representation is crucial in such a vulnerable space. Being a recovering addict myself (6 years sober in Dec 2024!), I want to be the person I needed when I was struggling to get sober, for other people.

<div>The problem is - even though I am working while I'm going to school, I don't currently have enough to pay my bills. Tuition, books, rent, utilities, food... Well, you get it.

<div>Student loans aren't available to me right now, and my credit isnt great. I've applied for the grants and bursaries I can, but I can't count on those. So, this is where Im asking for your help.
