<div>I’ve been blessed by this community and am asking, humbly, for a return of the same once again. <strong>Over the years, I have accrued a self I’m quite proud of but which has cost dearly.</strong> I am a survivor with PTSD—per the chronic, physical violence visited upon my person for/or while being a trans woman, one such can be seen below—and I’ve survived a psychotic or nervous break which saw me tour a number of behavioral centers since 2021 &amp; more hotly during 2023. I have only asked for monies when the help was crucial &amp; toward an important goal.

<div><strong>Today I am asking for support in support of some debt, both past and future. </strong>Foremost, it consists of delinquent payments to a storage unit, which houses the great bulk of my apartment &amp; personal effects, notebooks, my entire book collection, &amp; more; &amp; I am always in recovery from past assaults. In terms of debts future, I am contemplating a menu of gender reassignment treatments and/or surgeries that’ll help align my person better to my body. These treatments are expensive &amp; require delight research beforehand, &amp; a generous community thereafter.

<div><strong>Anything you can donate will help. </strong>My goal is, with these and other monies, return to my feet, so to speak, when they have been for years as if cut to their stump. <em>The world does not think kindly on trans persons, no matter their situation</em>; it would rather see a trans person returned to their relative misery than choose happiness as who they are. We all don’t have the privilege of assuming our bodies will arrive at their happiness without interference, but that interference is not free and, in some ways, comes without a price.

<div>Not very long from the giving season, won’t you consider giving to a true advocate &amp; poet, a Black trans woman, who is dedicated to their own lives, and the lives of any other vulnerable persons. Thank you for your attention.
