Niyi is a trans man living in Lagos, Nigeria, who has faced relentless transphobic attacks and threats from those around him. Despite his best efforts to survive, he continues to struggle with little support and lives in constant fear. His situation has become even more dire as his rent is now overdue, and he has nowhere else to go. The threats from his landlord and neighbor have escalated to the point where they have warned him that if he does not leave, they will hand him over to the police. This has left Niyi feeling isolated and desperate for a safe place to call home.

On top of these challenges, Niyi is dealing with underlying health issues that make it extremely difficult to find and keep a job. This has made it nearly impossible for him to afford basic necessities like food and shelter. Every day is a struggle, and the uncertainty of his living situation weighs heavily on him. Niyi’s story is one of resilience, but he cannot overcome these obstacles alone.
