Help A Trans Floridian Start Over

Hey again everyone, I'm Rhys, a young nonbinary, neurodivergent adult who is fleeing Florida to move in with my friend and their roommate in a trans-sanctuary state.

With the help of the community here on GoFundMe, I was able to raise $3,000 to fund my move from Florida to the safe state.

With the moving-related expenses out of the way, I want to ask for everyone's kindness one more time to help give me some financial security as I restart my life in a new state.

Here's the breakdown of the $2,950:

- I will be responsible for contributing $650 of the $2000 monthly rent. So I want to put $1,950 towards paying the rent for the first three months, just because I don't have a job lined up at the moment and I'd be really anxious if I had to rush to get the first job I'm offered just to afford rent.

• The other $1000 would be for emergency expenses, like (God forbid) a sudden ER visit. I want to have the peace of mind knowing that if something horrible happened, I wouldn't have to ask for even more money to cover that, or create hardship for my roommates.
