Help a Teacher's Gender Affirmation Surgery!

Hey all!

I'm Maiya, or depending on where you catch me, Ms. Abdul!

I'm an 8th grade Special Education teacher working in Atl, GA

and after 6 long years of patience and prudence I'm finally ready

to take the next step in my journey toward being my MOST

authentic self IN and OUT of my class!

I've spent these last few years tryingto best educate and prepare myself to stand before

my students. I worked diligently and dedicated all of my funds to my schooling, but now finally I'm

in a position to finally be able to move toward the biggest step in my butterfly journey, my transition,

and this is where I ask for your help, dear community.

Every penny able to be donated to my goal will be matched toward my gender affirming procedure set to take place December 29th, 2021 in Cobb County, GA. Something that I teach is the importance of self-awareness and self-actualization andn any assistance that I am able to receive from my community is s deeply, deeply appreciated as it will help me reach those very platforms.
