<div>I participated in the Portland "Tboy Wrestling" show on Saturday night, 10/11/2025, performing as an amateur wrestler.
</div>
<div>During my performance that evening, I sustained a severe injury to my knee during the 2nd round of my match (nobody is to blame, as injuries can &amp; do happen in combat sports all the time). 
</div>
<div>I finished the match after stabilizing myself (you can see this all in the footage of my match), &amp; stayed the rest of the evening on my hurt leg in an attempt to have fun and stay in community. 
</div>
<div>My wrestling partner &amp; I even "won prizes" that evening!!
</div>
<div>Myself &amp; a few others were announced to win money (which none of the winners received, &amp; turns out was a scam-sadly). 
</div>
<div>Regardless of the injury &amp; broken promises of $$ winnings, I had a great time in community, &amp; with friends there that night. 
</div>
<div>You can even see footage of me *limping* up to win my prize at the end of the show with a GIANT SMILE on my face. 
</div>
<div>A lot of had fun expressing ourselves that evening, despite the other really terrible things happening (unknowingly to a lot of us) behind the scenes,  &amp; would come to light later on. 
</div>
<div>I felt my knee jump out of socket quite a few times &amp; I almost fell over/down the stairs quite a few times during the evening after my match, but hoped it would pass, thinking I had a dislocation. 
</div>
<div>I live with a lot of daily pain &amp; disabilities,  &amp; naturally assumed my body was being bratty from all the excitement.  
</div>
<div>I woke up the next day to find that I could not walk at all, &amp; I went to the ER for help. Turns out, things were much more severe than I assumed.
</div>

<div>I have a bucket handle meniscus tear, which is quite severe, it places part of the ligament into my knee joint, fully locking my knee into place. I am fully unable to bend my knee &amp; is extremely painful &amp; very, very swollen.
</div>
<div>I have not been able to return to work since the incident on 10/11/25.
</div>

<div>I -ALSO- have a fully torn ACL that needs to be reconstructed, &amp; they will remove part of my quadricep muscle for this procedure to help rebuild my ACL, making my recovery harder and longer, unfortunately, as I also heal my thigh muscle along with my knee.
</div>
<div>Despite my injury, &amp; the lies with the prize winnings (&amp; harm to the community caused by the event coordinators, which I'm not going into  here).
</div>
<div>I honestly had the BEST time of my life that evening being in community with other rowdy trans folks who were there to perform, express themselves, or just have a fun consensual rumble together in front of an audience. 
</div>
<div>Hearing and seeing contestants express such joy being seen as themselves, while the audience members cheered everyone on, while also having a great time in community feeling seen as themselves was one I won't soon forget.
</div>
<div>It's really hard to reconcile what has come since within the community in terms of harm &amp; hurt. 
</div>
<div>So many people have been hurt in this.

<div>I personally haven’t been able to work/generate income since the wrestling match on 10/11/25 (injury date) &amp; I won't be able to go back to work until I am recovered from healing up after surgery, as my job as a body piercer requires me to bear full weight on both of my legs while stretching &amp; bending over clients all day long.
</div>

<div>I’m asking for help as a single parent, as I cannot work until fully healed. I have a substantial amount of monthly bills to maintain in order to keep my family &amp; myself fed, housed, &amp; feeling safe during these times.
</div>
<div>I am the sole provider for my (17yr old) teenager, myself, &amp; my dog. 
</div>
<div>We are also, preparing for my 17yr old Trans Son to get his top surgery in mid-March, so saving up my PTO is no longer an option for his surgery recovery time in Spring. This is all a huge bummer right now, &amp; I'm feeling VERY panicked.  This is where I look to community for help &amp; support. 
</div>

<div>I don't need help with medical bills, as I have OHP (public health care - &amp; they cover everything medical - THANKFULLY!). 
</div>
<div>I do, however, need help with bills &amp; basic life expenses, &amp; a few other items for AFTER surgery. 
</div>

<div>I have applied for, &amp; am awaiting a decision from Oregon short-term disability, which helps for 12 weeks of my time off, but I anticipate more than another 8 weeks of time off since surgery has not been scheduled yet.  I am afraid I will not be able to cover my bills and expenses during my entire recovery time - most likely into February/March.

<div>All donations will go towards my monthly bills/expenses, groceries, post surgery medical care needs, help with meal planning for myself and child, my lost wages until I am able to return to work in the spring.
