I am starting this gofundme for a friend of mine who was affected by the tornado and flooding in Harlingen, TX on March 28th 2025. Sometimes it is difficult to ask for help. In my understanding and empathy in that I am going to do my best to keep the privacy of my friend. I know that requires a lot of trust in me from anyone who is willing to give. I hope that my reputation to help others and do the right thing will stand out in this situation.

My friend is a single mom of two boys and she needs this money because her only vehicle was lost to the flooding. She had worked so hard to save for a car and was finally able to afford this one. Only a few days after putting every penny she had saved into buying the car the flood destroyed it.

She only had liability insurance on the car and now is completely without. Her biggest worry has been getting her son to and from school. After some talks the bus company has allowed her son to use the bus temporarily but this will stop sooner than she can get a car on her own. I know all too well how hard it can be to be a single mom. It is even tougher when you have no family who is able to help you out.

Please do me a favor and donate so she can get a used vehicle that can help her take her kids to and from school and so she can get to work. As of now she is struggling to do both of those things.
