Help a Single Mom & 4 Kids After House Fire
Last Thursday, our lives changed in an instant. A fire broke out in our home, completely destroying my oldest son’s bedroom and leaving the rest of the house covered in soot and water damage.
I’m a single mom of four amazing kids—ages 16, 14, 10, and 4. Right now, we are without a home. The Red Cross kindly helped us with a hotel until tonight (Sunday night), but after that, we don’t have anywhere to go. Unfortunately, my insurance is still investigating the fire, and I don’t know how long it will take before our claim is approved.
At the moment, my kids don’t even have clothes for school—all of their belongings were ruined by fire, smoke, or water. We’re not allowed to remove anything from the home until the investigation is complete. As a mom, my only concern is making sure my kids have the basics: a safe place to sleep and clothes to wear.
I am not someone who asks for help easily, but right now I have to put my pride aside for the sake of my children. Anything you can do—whether it’s a donation, sharing this fundraiser, or keeping us in your prayers—means the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting us through this difficult time.
