Help a PreProBono Fellow Alumni attend Law School
Donation protected
Hi, I am a PreProBono Fellowship Alumni with a learning disability seeking funds for law school essentials.
I am vague regarding most details because I am a Domestic Violence Survivor. My safety and security are essential.
I am trying to break the poverty cycle and obtain social mobility through education.
My goal is to become a Healthcare Compliance Attorney.
I have been accepted into law school and started on the first Monday of August 2023.
I was at my wit's end due to the "hidden costs" of law school.
To be successful in law school, I need the following:
Laptop (100% Bought & biggest expense) and Accessories (still need) to last all of the years of my JD/MPH program
Toiletries (25% bought)
Help with expenses for my cat. (He is cleared to live with me at the dorms) (50% bought)
Dorm Essentials (I must supply everything) (75% bought)
Glasses (still need)
Professional Clothing (75% bought)
School Supplies (75% bought)
Textbooks (which are $1750.00-$2500.00) - (still 100% need)
Miscellaneous Expenses (healthcare, therapy, tutoring, insurance, supplements, etc.) - (25% bought)
I have a work-study position lined up, but it will not start until late September 2023.
Please help me achieve my dream of attending and completing law school.
I want to break the generational poverty cycle within my family.
My socioeconomic background will help me identify with clients once I am an attorney, but it's a hindrance.
My financial goal is flexible; whatever you can donate helps.
Even a $5 or $10 donation will help me reach my goal.
Thank you for your time.
All unused monies will be donated to the PreProBono Fellowship!
