Help a POW Korean War Veteran

This morning I was at home looking through Facebook and came across a post of a 90 year old man who was in the Korean War.  He is a member of our Lincoln County Community.  Mr Johnson has a mortgage, a year ago he received a letter from his mortgage company stating his mortgage is being raised from $506 monthly to $860.  Mr Johnson being on a fixed budget and only has a limited amount of income could not afford the increase and got in touch with FEMA.  FEMA sent appropriate paperwork to him stating he is not in a flood zone.  He provided paperwork to his mortgage company and they continue to bill him the $860.  He received this increase a year ago $506 to $860 monthly he continued for 6 months to make payments of the 506 for 6 months thinking this would get resolved and it did not at 6 months he received a letter from the mortgage company that they would not accept $506 any longer and attached the arrearages and stated he would need to come current and make the $860 plus the past due balance of the flood insurance which he is not in a flood zone nor his neighbors are paying flood insurance.  Mr Johnson needs approximately $4000.00 to pay within 30 days to save his home.  If anyone knows how to make his lender understand that he is not in a flood zone it would be much appreciated to get his mortgage to the $506 it was.  Once we get the home saved he will need roof repairs and other home maintenance we will be handling.  With the help of others and organizations and people who know him I know we will save his home. If 400 people donated $10.00 that is his home saved.  Mr Johnson is diabetic and cannot eat most of the food that is given to him.  He doesn't have the funds to purchase the proper food he is able to have.  Everyone that knows him has told me he is the sweetest kindest man.  Let's help him keep his home.  Thank you!!!!
