<div>To give you some context about our business:

<div>We started our business at the end of 2022, and we started for two reasons. Our son was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and we needed an income that would give us the flexibility we needed to handle his care. At the same time, we wanted to help others. We wanted to create toys that offered simple play and exceptional learning opportunities for all neurotypes. And we've done that! We didn’t come from money, but one of our family members took out a second mortgage on their house to buy us our very first shipment of toys. After a year, all was going well, so we decided to sell our own house and go all in. We decided to move to Arizona because it had better programs for children with disabilities, which would be beneficial for us as we made the big leap.

<div>That was two years ago, and it was the beginning of V.I.C.T.O.R.

<div><strong>V</strong> — <strong>Very major seizure before our move.</strong> A week before we were set to drive across the country, our son had a major seizure that left him unconscious for 10 minutes. After discussing it with his doctors, we determined it would be safer for him if we flew. We hired someone to bring our car to Arizona.

<div><strong>I</strong> — <strong>The impact of a car accident.</strong> Unfortunately, the driver was involved in an accident, and our only car was 100% totaled. The story is actually really crazy, but I’ll spare you the details (too long to explain here). Even though we had the highest plan possible through our insurance company, they did everything they could to avoid paying for the total loss.<em> Two years later, we're still in the midst of a lawsuit against our former car insurance company.</em>

<div><strong>C</strong> — <strong>Contracts falling through.</strong> At the same time, when we moved, we were told that all was good with our house closing, but we got to Arizona and found out the contract had fallen through. Two more contracts fell through after that. So by the time we finally closed, there was very little profit left from the sale of our house.

<div><strong>T</strong> — <strong>The months fighting insurance.</strong> We fought our car insurance company for over 7 months. The car ended up being sold at auction without our knowledge. We had a loan on that car, and that battle ruined our credit. We know at some point the court case will be over, but it won't be for several months.

<div>On the tail end of that fight, we heard a lot of talk about tariffs. So we came up with a plan. We introduced a line of 3D-printed toys. All our toys produced overseas were at risk, and we needed a backup option. After months of planning, research, and child safety testing, we released them to our customers. Everyone loved them.

<div>But we quickly realized we needed help. We didn’t have family in Arizona, and trying to juggle two kids with different levels of support needs, the day-to-day of the business, and 3D printing toys was no easy feat. So we made the decision to move back to Virginia. We let all our customers know we were moving and that there would be delays. But we never expected what would come next.

<div><strong>O</strong> — <strong>Our printers arrived destroyed. </strong>We were back in Virginia for a few days when the printers finally arrived. All <em>five</em> were damaged beyond repair. And to make matters worse, insurance denied the claim. We basically had to start from scratch, with no savings left, no ability to get a loan because of our ruined credit, and a growing list of customers waiting on us.

<div><strong>R</strong> — <strong>Rising costs and tariffs.</strong> By the time we had recouped our printers, we were experiencing significant delays. And on top of all of that, the cost of everything has gone up. Tariffs have continued to cause issues. Since we’re a children’s toy company, we’re required to strictly follow child product safety laws. We can’t simply outsource our 3D-printed toys, and we can’t easily switch to a different material. Child safety testing is a very expensive and strict process, and many people don’t know that.

<div>As I’m sure you can see, we’ve had issues piling up over the past two years.
</div>

</div>
<div>To turn our business around and get it sailing in the right direction, <strong>we need money for a space for our printers (we've been told we'll have to pay a year upfront), more printers, and new inventory.</strong> We currently have no non-3D-printed products in production, and we’re dangerously low on the inventory we have left of those toys. If we surpass our goal, then we'll be able to move forward with multiple new products that we've been waiting to release for a long time.

<div>We’ve gone down every possible route to try to figure this out, but haven’t been successful. Reaching out to you is our last resort.

<div>At the end of the day, we’re just two parents with two disabled children who want to give our kids a good life and help those around us along the way. We want to do good, but as they say on airplanes, we have to put our masks on first before we can help others with theirs.
