I live with CPTSD and an autoimmune condition that limits my ability to work. I never imagined I would create a fundraiser, but I need help to rebuild a safe, stable life so my children can live with me again.

<div>Why I’m Asking for Help
</div>
<div>For years, I lived under severe psychological and financial abuse. I was isolated from my family, monitored constantly, and left to raise our children alone. When I finally escaped, I was placed in an unsafe rental where the heating and cooker broke and the landlord refused to fix anything. In freezing temperatures, black mould spread across the walls, and eventually my children couldn’t safely stay with me.

<div>My ex-partner used this crisis to regain control. He moved closer, refused to provide any financial support unless it benefitted him, and kept power over my ability to survive. My physical and mental health deteriorated. I became homeless for three months, living in a hostel that traumatised me further.

<div>I now have a safe home again — but it’s far from my children’s school. They stay with me every weekend, and we miss each other terribly.

<div>All I want is stability, and the chance for them to come home to me full-time.

<div>My Current Situation
</div>
<div>I work from home as much as I can — it’s the only kind of work I can manage due to my autoimmune condition, CPTSD, and agoraphobia. I create content, write, and do graphic design. But when I get sick, my income disappears completely.

<div>A recent flare-up left me unable to work for weeks. I lost my regular income, fell behind on essentials, and couldn’t even buy food for my children when they visited. I’m doing everything I can to rebuild independence, but right now I’m drowning.

<div>I’m not irresponsible — I’ve been surviving. I’ve worked since I was 16, and I’ve never had a safety net. Every setback knocks me back to zero.

<div>I need help to get back on my feet, stabilise my work, manage my disabilities, and provide a safe, full-time home for my children again.

<div>Autism/ADHD assessment, which will finally give me access to proper support and benefits

<div>Any extra will go toward eventually moving closer to my children’s school so we can reunite full-time

<div>I’m not looking for luxury — just enough stability to stand up again, keep going, and build the safe life my children deserve. They have been through too much to see this happen to their mother again, and I am doing everything within my power to ensure we have a chance at rebuilding our lives.
